I still have that commercial jingle for the evil mask company playing in my head.

Christ we're like feral children playing in the ruins of a once great civilization.

The Stuff it is! It even managed to make my top-10 list of 1985.

I used to know this one. I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say "Looker".

well you may just have me here. This might end the streak. I'm going to say "The Believers" just cuz there's a black guy looking all Voodoo-ey.

And I always liked "Looker"- cuz it was just goofy. And Albert Finney elevates most material. And whenever I look at a woman I always remember that scene where they track the viewer's eye during a commercial and it lingers on the set of tits that has nothing to do on the product and I'm like "hey, that's exactly where I'd be looking. And am looking now. because its only when I am confronted with boobies that I remember this scene. Which is a lot."

Absolutely right, guys. It is indeed The Believers, which scared the living daylight out me of as a teen. Can't work up much enthusiasm for Wes Craven's voodoo movie, though -- too disjointed and slack for my taste.

I think Charles is 100% and I only agree after I now see that it is a snake and not someone trying to put a turd in her mouth with a dental instrument. And I have Charles to thank for that. Thanks Charles.

well my streak is over- I wouldn't have gotten that. but hey, "Looker".

Correct! And Blue Underground gave it a super-duper video transfer! And believe it or not, it was adapted from an actual book that I read many years ago; and it wasn't bad, either.

Here's another, and no cheating by using imdb.com, people!

I almost went with the Bob Fosse movie but then realized that Scheider's not rocking the goatee- so though I've never seen it I have to go with deductive reasoning- and I know that Sommersby is a twisted man who likes violence, NASCAR, and vintage action, so I'm going to go with "Sorcerer".

Dude, I like NASCAR as much as I like Memento! And, no, wrong film. Pay attention to Scheider's co-star here; and it's a mid-'80s film. Pretty underrated, but not by Roger Ebert who loved it.

Oh I recognized Margaret right away but this is nothing I've ever seen and I had to go with "Sorcerer" based on your tastes rather than my knowledge. No, alas, I'm going to pass the shoe.

Allllllllright...

It's one of the better Elmore Leonard adaptations, and definitely one of the better movies John Frankenheimer directed in the '80s.

Next...

Anal-Reaming Bob -- you got it, man (or beast)! You have got some brain cells in that otherwise-empty melon of yours. Try this one:

Kudos, Whoremeister Bob! While not a complex actor, Hays has always been quite appealing and solid. It was nice that Robert Altman used him in a high-profile movie like Dr. T & the Women years after his career stalled out. Oh, and unless you've seen Cat's Eye in widescreen, you simply haven't seen it. (Just like, Bob, you've never seen non-anal sex in your life, apparently.)

Razz
