I can not explain just how perfect a film this is.The concepts explored are many, the satire is extremely tongue-in-cheek. Peter Sellers plays several of roles in this film, and it's got Slim Pickens to boot! The late, great (sniff, I'll be okay) director, Kubrick brings us another film with meticulously planned shots, and dramatic lighting along with some very quick-on-your-toes dialogue. If only I could tell you the greatest parts of the film! But I won't, for it would ruin it for you. This is a film where you might want to watch it several times. You will miss half the humor the first time because you take it all seriously, that's how talented a director Kubrick is. Kubrick doesn't cater to the cliche-d "War is Hell" message you find in most war films, instead he will allow farce to create meaning for the viewer - one can view it as a comedy, a black comedy, or drama.Watch it again and again or the commies will win.
