"OK, so Jude Law as a bad bad man. Is this believable?"
1 stars

A film that tries to include some semblance of science into modern day vampirism.

There are always new films coming out that try to show a new slant on an otherwise well trodden theme. Vampires, I for one think we have seen far far too much of these creatures.

But this is really not part of the story. Vampires are really only an easy explanation of this film. Basically Jude is a guy who has a rare condition (what film charcater doesnt these days) so he must drink blood. (Yes there the vampire bit.) He goes out with girls, has his way with them, then kills them making it look accidental. Until (yes I know its predictable) One girl is underestimated by him leading to an emotional finale.

So I feel this story is a very emotional and beautiful one with some great acting, and a spectacular script.

Actually its a piece of shit that goes on too long. Crap script, stale direction, some good acting by Jude though who actually makes the character as believable as the script allows.

So only watch this film as a part of masochistic torture.
