"Stick to kickboxing Don"
1 stars

Yawn, again we have to withstand the vanity of some really stupid people, mostly big stars in their respective professions who think they can make it even BIGGER if they make a movie. Truth is they suck the big fucker, and this is no truer in the martial arts world.

Case in point, Don “The Dragon” Wilson, a world kickboxing champion once again trying to prove that kicks and chops are all it takes to make an action flick (watch the bloody awful Bloodfist), only this time as a bodyguard protecting some singer called Shanna (Deirdre Imershein) whom has some bad shit with his manager; the Bodyguard anyone?

Why rip off a bad film when all you’re going to get is an even badder film. And what the hell is it with that psycho killer John Sweet (Mathias Hues) and what fucking name is that? That’s not the most annoying part, the really annoying part is that this is supposedly a martial arts flick and yet all the fight scenes are so fucking lifeless, with no emotion whatsoever, like everyone’s bored out of their minds trying to emulate to the audience that they’re actually fighting. Not to mention that half of these bozos can’t even fight worth a damn; hell, even I could kick their asses. Even The Dragon, he looks bored and uninterested, giving punch and kick left and right by the numbers as if he didn’t give a shit, and don’t get me started on his acting skills, the guy is fucking plywood. I was hoping he got his ass wasted.

Oh, by the way, can we stop the idiotic “mandatory sex scene in every martial arts movie” cliché for once? For fucks sake, can’t you people be a little more original? Sure, I don’t mind looking at Shanna’s body, but come on it’s annoying not to mention pointless to have this shit over and over and over in every single fucking martial arts movie that I’ve seen.

In the end, don’t waste your time on this boring and lifeless martial arts flick. This flick is so pathetic that it shoves Don Wilson down the martial arts shitlist where all the flotsam that has no business doing movies floats (Lundgren, Leung, and Blanks). Go watch any Bruce Lee movie if you want competent acting, serious martial arts and real martial artists fighting other martial artists. 0-5
