Comedy Central - Just catching up with this show after a friend's recommendation. Damn if that's not the hardest and most consistent I've laughed since the best episodes of The Office (U.S.)

I watched the first episode and thought it was funny, but not enough for me to add yet another show to my roster. Plus, parts of it make me uncomfortable. I don't like "prank" shows, and elements of "Dog Bites Man" -- where they're pretending to be a real news crew with regular people who don't know they're fake -- feel like that to me. It's hard for me to laugh because I'm sympathizing with the people who aren't in on the joke.

I do respect the talent of the actors, though. Doing improv is hard enough. Doing improv with people who don't even know they're doing improv is amazing.

It's been hit or miss so far, but has gotten consistently better. I like the way they goof on innocent bystanders - It's not like they're making fun of them, but rather making a mockery of themselves and then capturing their reactions, which are hysterical.

Not that interested, mainly because I can't get over the whole "we want to be just like The Office" mindset. (Plus, I haven't laughed at anything yet.) Cast is solid, though. Whatever gets Galifanakis paid's fine by me.

I agree. I was watching for Galifanakis, so when he uttered about two whole words in the first couple of eps, I was very disappointed. He has had more to do more recently, though. The commercial about it being the best thing to happen to Comedy Central made me pissy, because The Colbert Report is the new Comedy Central benchmark.
