I have never been one to fight about show cancellations, but dammit, this show makes me happy. its bright, original, damn funny, and undeserving of this ignoble end. So dammit bitchslappers, you best sign this thing back into existence.
For God's sake, what, you want more reality crap?

You have to love how ABC gave up on a well-received quirky romantic fantasy and essentially replaced it with a quirky futuristic office place comedy (Better Off Ted) which I'm boycotting on principle.
And canceling Life On Mars, an oddball police drama with The Unusuals, an oddball police drama. _________________ Erik Childress

I saw Better Off Ted.
Unlike Pushing Daisies, which embraces quirk in such a way that you can just accept that is how this world works, BOT was a clumsy charge towards plot with characters holding a "WE ARE QUIRKY... SO LAUGH" sign over their heads.
Wasn't funny. Wasn't amusing. Still want to fuck Portia De Rossi despite the obvious complications inherent in that wish.
I really miss Pushing Daisies. The comedy was screwball- the quirk was simply artistic window dressing and it worked.
And that last 5 minutes of Life on Mars, that was a hilarious debacle. Showing some real balls would have somehow made the time travel real, with real consequences in the future. I will also note, I would like to bang Gretchen Moll as well, a task still somewhat insurmountable in my circumstances, yet possibly more achieveable than my lust for de Rossi. _________________ I am L.
