Anyone else digging this? It seems to be the anti-Entourage. David Duchovny is pretty good as the failed Dad who hates himself so much he's drowning himself in meaningless pussy instead of a bottle. Seemed like well worn territory at first. I didn't think there was anyone in this show I'd warm up to but after 3 eps they've got a pretty good stride going between the serious moments and dark humor.

I saw the first ep on Netflix, but I don't have Showtime. As far as the pilot goes, I loved it. I can't wait to see the rest. My impression was that Duchovny makes an unlikeable character, in terms of his choices and not his personality, very human. I imagine it makes for a great hour paired with Weeds, which I also love.

Yeah it's a good show, Duchovny does an excellent job as hank moody. After a friend told me to watch it I was hooked and finished two seasons in a bout a week. I can't wait for the third season to come out sept 27th i believe.
