I hope that we can use this thread to give a heads up about movies coming to TV.
Does this mean that you need to post and let everyone know that Top Gun will be airing on TNT again this weekend? No. Should you post that a Steven Segal marathon is on the new TNN? Oh Hell No. (Well I guess you can, but be prepared for the ridicule.)

Airing tonight:

Daughter From Danang
A 2002 Sundance documentary selection and nominated for an Oscar this year for Best Documentary, Daughter From Danang should prove quality viewing. (Especially if you are as documentary obsessed as I am.) It's airing on PBS's American Experience tonight. Probably at 8 or 9 pm depending on your market.

Also, in case you didn't catch it last night, Masterpiece Theater is running The Jury. My PBS station is reairing part one tonight. It stars one of my personal favorites, Derek Jacobi. Solid modern piece on British justice system. If you like Law & Order or (used to like) The Practice, The Jury offers a different take on murder/courtroom drama. I liked part one and am looking forward to part two.

Okay, finally caught up on the taped backlog of television tonight.

Daughter from Danang? More like Downer from Danang. A good piece of documentary making to be sure, but holy God, now I want to slit my wrists. I'm supposed to be sleeping cuz I gotta go to work in four hours. Instead i'm depressed and brooding about how shitty the human condition is.
