Forces of Nature is a really good movie, and is definitely worth the ticket price. For what I would dub a 'chick flick' (no offense to the feminine gender) Forces of Nature was actually somewhat of a surprise.
Ben Affleck plays the role of a groom-to-be encountering almost every obstacle imaginable, in his attempts to get to his wedding in Savannah, Georgia. Sandra Bullock is Sarah, a passenger trying to get to Savannah to sell a failing business. That is until a seagull gets pulled into the engine of their plane, and begins a long sequence of problems for them. Ben's fiancé is the beautiful Maura Tierney, who is eagerly awaiting his arrival.
Both Ben and Sarah, being without transportation to their destination find themselves dealing with one comical mishap after another. Each delays Ben just a while longer and makes Bridget worry just a little more. If all of the obstacles weren't enough of a challenge, all of the people that Ben meets along the way tell him marriage sucks. It seems 'something' is trying to keep the monogamous Ben from taking his vows, including his attraction to Sarah.
Huge props to the Dreamworks graphical artists for some breath-taking scenes.Overall the movie was more than worth the price (I had free sneak preview passes), and the actors did a terrific job.
