Wow. Gilliam makes a movie that's surreal for a *reason*.
And you know what? It was damned good.Low points of his career: "Baron Munchausen" - did this one make sense to anybody? ... "The Fisher King" - made sense, but who cared in the end? Only the acting saved it from being unwatchable [NOTE: I haven't seen "Jabberwocky" and don't consider "Time Bandits" a high or a low] Highlights of his career: "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", a notch in anybody's belt ... "Twelve Monkeys", which I loved unconditionally ... "Brazil", which is incredible, and actually does make sense if you watch it enough And this one. Hilariously funny, incredibly acted, and just fucking insane. But in that good way. See it. Watch it. Know it.See it with a bud. No, wait, scratch that, 'cause it doesn't deserve to be at all compared to "Dazed and Confused".
