This is the movie that made me love movies. Kevin Smith really knows how to make a flick. This movie takes you through the day of two dysfunctional clerks, Dante (Brian O'Halloran), and Randal (Jeff Anderson) working at a small convenience store in Leonardo, NJ. It has the hilarious, hard-hitting, fast paced style of Kevin Smith's writing combined with a great cast of unknown, yet talented, actors. This movie was sure to be great; and great it was.
Okay, you're thinking, "Who cares? What the hell could this movie posibly be about?!" Well, I'll tell you. It's about two clerks (duh!) and the situations that they run into during a not so typical day of working at a convenience store. Let me give you a few examples: spitting water at a customer; closing the store to play a hockey game on the roof; dealing with drug deals that are occuring right in front of the store...and many more, as I didn't want to give too much plot away.
Okay, you know what it's about. "Is it funny?", you ask. FUCK YEAH. If you don't almost piss your pants 3 times I'll give you 10 bucks.
Are you still here? why aren't you looking for your keys so you can go to your local RST video store and rent this?Great movie. Go see it now. You won't be disapointed.
