Oh Travolta, oh Travolta, oh Travolta. This isn't you year.
First of all, your pet project Battlefield Earth
was one of the biggest turkey's of the year, and now you
follow that up with another bad movie.
Travolta got a second chance at movie stardom after making
a comeback in "Pulp Fiction" - but for some reason things are
just going downhill again.
This film is as unfunny and as unentertaining as you could
get, at times my eyes felt heavy and were ready to go into
a deep sleep.zzzzzTravolta is a cheesy weatherman named Russ Richards who has gone in over his head with an unprofitable snowmobile business. What he decides is to hatch up a plan with a club owner pal (Roth) and a lotto number girl (Kudrow) to rig the lottery and keep the money. Of course, nothing goes to plan. Travolta's character is just one of the unlikable characters of the tale. Lisa Kudrow's trashy, foul-mouthed vixen is probably more annoying. Why would she think her fans would want to see her in this? It's just such a pity all this talent has been wasted. Tim Roth, who co-starred with Travolta in "Pulp Fiction" almost looks bored here, and not even a slightly dorky turn from Bill Pullman can save the film. The film meddles uneasily between comedy, black comedy and drama and it's as if they are just making it up as they go. I couldn't help but wonder when this film was going to end. Travolta beetter take a look at his lucky numbers before deciding on his next film project.for my closing statement I'd just like to....zzzzzzz
