"'Why did they make me build the jacuzzi?' - Gonzo"
4 stars

The Muppets are back, and they're funny. This movie is a definite r-o-l-a-i-d after "Muppet Treasure Island". I even liked some of the new characters thrown in there. (shrimp, bear, etc...) Not everybody will like this movie, but if your a muppet fan (or a child at heart), it is a "Must See".

Hey, hey, hey - Muppets Rock, and not just because their lifeforce comes from some really wierd guys with a fisting fetish.

After "Muppet Treasure Island" it was clear that the muppets had outlived their 15min,... or had they. This movie is chock (yes, chock) full of hilarious antics. New characters, as well as old, breath good stuff (awww yeah, good stuff) into what might have been another flop. But wait, there is a downside to all of this melon ball fun. People who are my age (ohhh, lets say 20-35) and are not a part of the Bruce Willis Die Hard Muppet Fan Club might not be crack-whored up by this movie. The comedy itself has not changed, but this type of comedy has never appealed to everyone. (Whoopdie Do, Right) What about kids...

Kids, kids, kids, what can I say. When I saw the movie there were a few kids in the theater. Hey, they laughed too, but I don't think they knew why many of the jokes were funny. I'm not saying it's filled with sexual inuendo or anything like that, but it felt like this muppet movie was trying to be geared towards everybody. Seeing as how that can't work, it ended up being geared towards teens with half a brain. Well, again you may see my point (most teens don't come with brains at all anymore). So it was left up to the Bruce Willis Fans.

If your not sure if you'd like it, or if your willing to
kill an hour and a half for muppet kind, I'd say "see it".
(ya'll might just learn sompin' boy)

While this movie may not do wonders in the box office, it is still a warm hearted, drop your pants and let it fly, good times in the spirit of Jimmy Walker comedy. Shut up and see it.
